The art of persuasion is a skill that is extremely important to everyone but one that very few actually know how to apply.
In order to persuade anyone to do anything you must first convince them that what they are doing is of their own idea and creation. You must have them believe that they played a part in the development of the idea.
Everything we do involves sales in some form or fashion. Obviously the ability to sell your point of view to others will be of great importance to your success in business, relationships and family…in other words you must know how to persuade to get what you want.
I have just finished reading a book by Jeffrey Gitomer called Little Green Book of Getting Your Way: How to Speak, Write, Present, Persuade, Influence, and Sell Your Point of View To Others.
