Questions are the key to finding out the answers.

Once you can let go of having to know all of the answers…you can start to find out the right information by becoming stellar at asking the right questions.

Imagine a walking into a sales meeting with a potential customer and you have lots of information about you, your company and products.  The potential customer will think of you as a salesman.

Now imagine walking into a sales meeting with a potential customer and you have lots of information about them, their company and what they are looking for that would improve their business.  The potential customer now sees you as a resource.

Is it better to be a resource?

Questions will get others to think and provide you with information.  That can lead to the sale.
Questions will get others to move and take action.  That can lead to the sale.
Questions will help others to get clarity on things.  That can lead to the sale.
Questions will help others to sell themselves on what you have to offer.  That can lead to the sale.
Questions will help others to see you as a resource and a problem solver.  That can lead to the sale.
Questions will allow you to control conversations and influence better than a know it all ever will.  That can lead to the sale.

Right now make a list of some powerful questions.  Questions that uncover information that will help you to find out things about your potential customers and can lead you to the sale.

Questions lead to answers.  Better yet…Questions are the Answer.
